Nursery/Preschool Caregivers
Our Nursery/Preschool area is experiencing a huge baby boom! We are constantly in need of team members to be caregivers during our worship services (9:30 & 11:00 a.m.). Caregivers will be playing, loving, sharing hugs and telling our little people of God’s love. Safe Church Training is required to be a part of
this ministry.

Kingdom Kids
Laugh, Learn, and Grow With Us
Childhood is such an exciting time – full of growth and learning. That’s why Jesus loved children and why He made a special place for them in His heart and in His ministry. First Baptist Church of Crystal River cares about kids, too. That’s why we have created a place where children can come to be safe, to be loved, and to become more like Jesus. The Clubhouse Crew workers are people who desire to make a positive impact in the life of a child by loving them the way Jesus does. Our activities are exciting and energetic—perfect for your active child.
What To Expect
As you walk into the main entrance Welcome Center. You will find a friendly face in one of our church greeters, who will be able to direct you to our Kingdom Kid’s Clubhouse check in area. There we will gather your child’s information to insure they have lots of fun and that they stay safe.
Nursery
Kids from birth through age 3 have their own special place in our Clubhouse called the Playhouse.
Kid’s Worship
Our Clubhouse is open to children from ages 4 to 11 (PreK-5th grade). We have worked hard to make the Clubhouse a great place for all of our children. Our message is the same message that their grown-ups receive in big church, just at their level. This means that, as a family you get to talk about all the wonderful things that everyone learned.
Awana Clubs
Our Awana Club for kids, age 2 to grade 5, meets every Wednesday night (aligning with the school calendar). Check-in begins at 5:45 pm. Club begins at 6:00 and ends at 7:30.
We would like to invite you to join us for our 2024-2025 AWANA Club year! For new families, we will have an Open House on August 21st at 6:00pm, where you will be able to see our club rooms and meet some of our club leaders.
AWANA Begins August 28th – 6:00-7:30pm
As a parent, you’ll appreciate AWANA for many reasons.
For example, you’ll know your child is being led in a structured, well-prepared program. Materials are superbly written, designed to stimulate involvement and develop an eagerness for learning. What’s more, well-qualified Awana leaders will provide strong guidance. Leaders are dedicated to Christian ideals.
Week by week they’ll grow as they learn. But how fast? To some extent that’s up to you. Experience shows that your encouragement will make a big difference in your son’s or daughter’s performance. So let them know you’re behind them, encourage them and take the time to sit and read with them, and help them study their handbook.
Our goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
If that is a goal you have for your child also, please take a closer look at the Awana Club program. For reasons that are evident in the smiles and fulfilled faces of boys and girls in more than 20,000 Awana Clubs worldwide ,you’ll want your son or daughter to attend Awana Club “next week” as much as they want to attend themselves.

KINGDOM KID REGISTRATION
For all children activities, parents must have a Kingdom Kid Registration Form filled out for each child. This covers all activities that your child can participate in, such as Kid’s Camp and VBS. Please download this FORM and bring it with you to the Children’s Department.
SAFETY
Our Safe Church Policy ensures our facilities are secure and our volunteers are safe. The Clubhouse Crew workers are people who desire to make a positive impact in the life of a child by loving them the way Jesus does. All volunteers are background checked, safe church trained and have child safety training.
