The Deacons of First Baptist Church assist the pastor in meeting the physical and spiritual needs of our congregation. The Deacons participate in a family ministry by keeping in contact with each of our church families. Deacons minister to our congregation by making hospital visits, serving the Lord’s Supper, praying during worship, and meeting the needs of people. Deacons serve for 3 years and rotate off for one year.

Our Deacon Ministry is a service ministry, not an Administrative Board.

Our Deacons meet on the first Sunday of each month at 12:15 p.m. in the Parlor.
