GO Student Ministries

Pastor John leads our students through bible study, plans events and reaches out to students to help them grow in their Christian walk. The Student Ministry reaches youth in 6th - 12th grade in the Ministries Building where they have Bible Study, Worship Time, Activities & Games.

Bible Study:

Sunday - 10:00 am - Life Groups
Wednesday - 6:00 pm - Student Service

Our Mission

GO Student Ministries exists to connect lost students with Christ and encourage them to GROW in faith, REACH the world, ADORE God, CARE for each other, and ENGAGE in ministry.

Note from Pastor John

John 16:33 - “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

What kind of things do you deal with in your personal life? Hardships at work? Family problems? That driver going 25 miles under the speed limit who happens to be going to the same place as you? These things might be irritating, but we must remember that Jesus has conquered the world. There’s nothing that is too hard for Him!

We often get stuck in a rut of our problems, thinking, "How could my life get any worse?" In this verse, Jesus told us that we will have problems- once you become a Christian, life doesn’t suddenly become easy street! However, we must not mope but rather rejoice that our Father has gone ahead of us and conquered the toughest battles life could ever dish out. As Christians, we shouldn’t complain about how big our problems are but rather boast to our problems how big our God is! So next time you are tempted to grumble about troubles in your life, pause, pray and remember that our God has overcome the world! - Josh Roberts, Student Intern.
