Welcome to First Baptist Church of Crystal River, Florida
We welcome everyone to our church and fellowship. If you are looking for a loving, caring and Bible preaching church, come and visit us at First Baptist. Our doors are always open. If you have special needs or need someone to pray with you, feel free to call our church office.
The ABC's of Becoming A Christian
- Admit that you have sinned, that you have broken God’s Law.
- Believe that Jesus Christ died for every wrong thing you’ve ever done. Believe that He was buried and rose again on the third day.
- Confess to Jesus that you want Him to forgive you and lead your life.
Are you ready to receive Jesus into your life? Say this prayer, “God, I admit that I have sinned against you. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose again. The best way I know how, I receive Jesus into my life to lead me and save me. Amen.”
Please contact one of our staff so that we may pray with you and help you
understand what it means to becoming a Christian.
A Note From Our Pastor
February is the month when America celebrates the Super Bowl.
It’s a special time to get together with friends, share favorite food, and
experience together the ups and downs of the game. I’m inviting everyone to
cheer for my favorite team, the New England Patriots, as they hopefully topple
the New York Giants (isn’t it a biblical principle to slay the giants?). Join us
for the Super Bowl Party in Victory Hall on February 5th at 6:00 p.m.
We most importantly want February to be a super month at First Baptist Church.
As we continue our study on The Lord’s Prayer on Sunday mornings, we look
forward in great anticipation to all that God is going to do. We pray that
people will find faith in Jesus Christ, follow Him in baptism on February 5th,
and grow their prayer life to a higher level.
On Super Bowl Sunday, we will celebrate with other Southern Baptists in a Call
to Prayer to ask God to do miraculous things in our community, our nation and
around the world. We will receive a card to assist us in praying for our family
and friends, our church, our country, and our world. We have a big God who can
do big things. Let’s ask big and bold prayers and anticipate what God will do.
February is also a super month to invite a friend. You can use the invite cards
to give a special invitation to someone to join you for church. Let’s make
February a super month in which people come and connect with God. It’s always
our mission to touch hearts and transform lives by sharing the love of Jesus
Christ. Regardless of who wins the Super Bowl (Go Patriots!), let’s work
together and pray together so that God will bless us with another super month at
First Baptist Church Crystal River.
God Bless,
Pastor Tim
